All the Words I Need is an ode to the many many many nights I’ve spent trying to find the right words to love someone the way they wanted to be loved. Hold them the way they wanted to be held. Care for them the way they wanted to be cared for. I feel sometimes as if so much of what I do is rooted in the struggle of teaching myself to care carefully and gently, knowing that no amount of words in the world can make a hurt heal faster. It feels like I’m never going to find the right words. Yet you try and you try and you try. And sometimes you find them and sometimes you don’t yet you try and you try and you try.
