Impostor Syndrome is a set of acrylic plexi glass tokens that carry the engraving, "I am not worthy of the life I have been given". The tokens take the size of given wall and are meant to be taken away by the audience that deem themselves worthy of taking away a part of the piece at no cost. Impostor Syndrome (also known as impostor phenomenon, fraud syndrome or the impostor experience) is a concept describing individuals who are marked by an inability to internalize their accomplishments and have a persistent fear of being exposed as a "fraud". The pieces deals with this constant threat of not being worthy of the life that you have and dealing with the anxiety of having this reality stripped away from you.
