Wishing Upon a Grieving Well (2020)

This site responsive work uses materials that are sourced specifically from its city. Glass that is thrifted from second hand stores close to the gallery, bricks found near the installation site, a metal bowl left outside of a nearby building. In an attempt to trust in how a work comes together, in both luck and serendipity, I arrive at the site with only one part of the piece, the dissolvable coins.

The audience is then invited to interact with both the work and the coins as a space for their contemplation.
